Quarterly Compliance & Regulatory Update

A quality management system must be kept up to date to ensure the continuity of certification. Staying up to date with ever-changing laws and regulations requires constant attention. That is why Normec offers you the option of taking care of this for you with our Regulatory & Compliance Quarterly Update, so that your company can continue to make progress in terms of quality.

This allows you to get the most out of your quality management system. Normec provides a team of experts with extensive experience in the field of legislation and regulations. Once a quarter, you will receive a clear update on all changes to legislation and regulations within the European Union and Belgium (including updates on FAVV circulars, GFSI certificates, specifications, BIO/MSC/etc, depending on your company's needs). This overview also highlights which changes are specifically applicable to your company and what these changes entail.

This allows you to immediately implement the necessary changes within your QA policy.

Audit planning Compliance

We also offer various audit plans:

  • Quality system compliance: All applicable laws and regulations (food/packaging) are applied consistently in your company's management system.

  • Process compliance: Have you recently implemented new processes or modified existing ones? We will be happy to assist you in verifying that they comply with all applicable laws and regulations. We also investigate whether the processes are sufficiently validated and managed, and fit within the existing management system.

  • Product compliance audit: We check whether your product complies with applicable laws and regulations (including customer requirements). We also carry out a label check, specification check, composition check, and validation check of analyses, among other things. Finally, we also examine whether this fits within your existing management system and whether the latter has been sufficiently adapted to the product.

  • FSMA compliance: Do you want to export products to the US? We will check whether your product complies with the applicable FDA requirements. This is carried out by a certified PCQI.
