Frequently asked questions
VCA stands for Safety, Health and Environment Checklist for Contractors. It is a standard designed to systematically safeguard safe and healthy working conditions. For companies performing high-risk activities, such as in construction, industry or technical maintenance, a VCA certificate demonstrates a strong commitment to safety and professional competence.
The right VCA level depends on your company’s scope of work. VCA* is for companies with primarily operational tasks. VCA** is aimed at organisations that also manage policy and planning. VCA-P is the most advanced level and includes safety culture and subcontractor management. We’re happy to help you determine the most suitable option.
