Working at Normec
CO2 Performance Ladder Auditor
Are you passionate about contributing to a better climate? Do you have experience with the CO2 Performance Ladder? As a CO2 Performance Ladder Auditor, you’ll be on the move a lot, and no two days will be the same! Does this sound exciting? Read on.
What will you be doing?
As a CO2 Performance Ladder Auditor, you will visit various clients to assess whether they meet the requirements set by the CO2 Performance Ladder, a sustainability tool. You will primarily do this by reviewing company documentation and having discussions with employees. This will give you a clear picture of the situation and help you verify whether the company’s documentation matches actual practices. As an auditor, you are not an advisor, but a true assessor! Your responsibilities will include:
Independently conducting audits for clients who wish to become certified or maintain their certification in sustainability.
Evaluating company documentation from various perspectives and methodologies.
Conducting on-site investigations and reporting your findings.
Verifying whether the actions taken by the client have led to the desired CO2 reduction.
Collaborating with colleagues on interpreting standards and executing audits.
Your colleagues in planning will ensure your schedule is full, so everything will be arranged for you. You’ll perform audits for five days a week, and your schedule also includes time for reporting. This ensures you have enough time to finalize your reports afterward. You will have the flexibility and freedom to complete your reports from home.
What do you bring?
A bachelor’s degree (HBO) or equivalent knowledge and experience at the HBO level.
Proven knowledge of the CO2 Performance Ladder and sustainability aspects.
Knowledge of ISO 14064 – Greenhouse gases (parts 1 and 3) and ISO 50001 – Energy management. Familiarity with the GHG Protocol is also required.
We are looking for a responsible colleague who can work independently. You are professional and possess strong communication skills to engage with clients and their staff. You also have the necessary persuasiveness and empathy. You have a critical eye, are not afraid to make decisions, and place a high value on quality.
