Administrative assistant construction laboratory

To strengthen our construction laboratory in Wevelgem, we are looking for an Administrative Assistant with a hands-on mentality. In this crucial role, you oversee the entire process, from sample reception to delivering reliable analysis results. As the key link between different teams, you contribute to an efficient and streamlined workflow, ensuring that all steps are carried out meticulously. You play an essential role in guaranteeing accurate reporting and timely delivery of results.

What will you be doing?

You are a precise and organized administrative professional who thrives on maintaining smooth planning and clear communication. At Normec Servaco’s construction laboratory, you ensure that all administrative processes run efficiently and accurately. You support the team by processing analyses, handling invoicing, and preparing reports. You also serve as the point of contact for customers and suppliers, ensuring professional and friendly communication. No two days are the same—you switch effortlessly between different tasks while keeping everything well-organized.

Who are you and what do you bring?

  • strong organizational skills with the ability to maintain oversight

  • administrative experience, preferably in a technical or laboratory environment

  • a keen eye for detail and accuracy

  • excellent written and verbal communication skills

  • customer-oriented with a proactive approach to problem-solving

  • proficient in Office software and administrative systems

  • fluent in Dutch, with knowledge of French and English being a plus
