Building a measurably sustainable future together
At Normec, we believe that real progress begins with taking responsibility for our own impact and for the world around us. That’s why in 2024 we had our Science Based Targets (SBTi) validated: an important milestone that underscores our commitment to a sustainable future. Our goals are clear and ambitious: by 2030 we aim to achieve a 42% reduction in scope 1 & 2 emissions compared to 2022, a 52% reduction in scope 3 emissions per unit of added value, and a full transition to renewable electricity.
These goals are not only ambitious but also clearly measurable. In 2023, we already saw a 17% decrease in our CO₂ intensity per million euros of revenue (like-for-like). This progress is the result of targeted initiatives such as making our energy supply more sustainable, optimising logistical processes, and raising awareness among all our employees.
For us, sustainability is not a standalone project but an integral part of our business operations. We work together with customers, partners, and colleagues on solutions that make an impact today and contribute to a liveable world for future generations. By sharing our progress transparently, we aim to inspire others and encourage them to raise the bar with us.
