Occupational safety and health management
DIN EN ISO 45001
On March 12, 2018, DIN EN ISO 45001, a globally recognized standard for occupational health and safety management systems, came into force. The new ISO standard provides a systematic approach with a focus on personal protection, occupational safety, and preventive healthcare. Thanks to its High-Level Structure, it can be more easily integrated into existing quality and environmental management systems, making it suitable for companies of all industries and sizes.

FAQ
The certification process for management systems is customised to your organisation and specific situation. Costs depend on the certification standard, the size of your business, the number of locations, and other company characteristics. We gather this information in advance and provide a non-binding quote so you can make an informed decision. For prequalification, you can find the relevant amount in the pricing overview.
Our experts certify your organisation and issue your certificate after a successful certification process. Certifications for management systems under ISO 9001, ISO 14001, ISO 45001, ISO 13485, and SCC-VAZ 2021 require an audit at your company, for which we deploy competent and specially trained auditors and technical experts. For prequalification, the evaluation takes place within the certification body; depending on the scope of the application, a company visit may also be required. Our certification activities are regularly monitored by the Deutsche Akkreditierungsstelle (DAkkS).
Every certification for management systems or prequalification begins with contact with the accredited certification body. The process typically consists of six steps:
Inventory
Preparation of quotation and contract
Verification of documents
On-site audit or possible company visit
Evaluation of the results
Certification
Certifications under ISO 9001, ISO 14001, ISO 45001, ISO 13485, and SCC-VAZ 2021 are valid for three years. During this period, one initial audit and two interim audits take place. After three years, a new certification cycle follows with a recertification and two subsequent audits. For prequalification, the certificate is valid for five years, with an interim check every 20 months.
