Certification is carried out by an independent certification body such as ours (Normec VQZ GmbH), which audits compliance with the GOI based on a defined set of criteria. The audit examines, among other things, the law firm's staffing, procedures, documentation, quality assurance, and IT systems. Upon successful completion of the audit, the law firm receives a GOI certificate with regular follow-up audits (e.g., every three years) to ensure ongoing quality.
