International certification standard

ISO 45001: Transition period extended again

The ISO standard 45001:2018 “Occupational health and safety management systems” replaces the previous BS OHSAS 18001:2007 as the international certification standard for occupational health and safety management systems.

With regard to the transition from OHSAS to 45001, the IAF (International Accreditation Forum) meeting has now decided to extend the transition period once again, this time to September 31, 2021.

The 45001 certificates issued by VQZ Bonn will bear the combined IAF/DAkkS logo.
