Normec Abiolab accelerates its growth in the Pays de la Loire region
On February 28, Normec Abiolab acquired AVIMAR, a laboratory based in Challans (85) in the Pays de la Loire region. Specializing in food hygiene and safety, AVIMAR supports the livestock, agri-food, and marketing sectors, from farm to table. The laboratory offers animal health, food hygiene, and water analysis services, as well as inspection, audit, consulting, and training services, particularly in occupational risk management.12 Jan 2025
Normec Abiolab: Preserving water quality in the face of PFAS challenges
Starting January 1, 2026, water quality regulations will change. From then on, 20 PFAS will have to be analyzed for drinking water health checks, with particularly strict quantification limits. In this context, Normec Abiolab has invested in the PFAS project with the aim of meeting these new regulatory requirements. Our goal is to develop and validate a reliable and effective analysis method for these 20 PFAS.
