On February 28, Normec Abiolab acquired the AVIMAR laboratory, based in Challans (85), in the Pays de la Loire region.

Specialising in food hygiene and safety, AVIMAR supports the livestock, agri-food, and marketing sectors, from farm to table. The laboratory offers analysis services in animal health, food hygiene, and water analysis, as well as inspection, audit, consulting, and training services, particularly in occupational risk management.

This strategic acquisition enables Normec Abiolab to strengthen its expertise and expand its service offering, thereby consolidating its position as a leading player in the field of food safety. We welcome the AVIMAR teams and look forward to the synergies that will benefit all our partners and customers.

Normec Abiolab accelerates its growth in the Greater East region

Normec Abiolab is expanding with the acquisition of the QUALHYGIENE laboratory, located in Metz (57), and the food safety consulting company ALPRECO, based in Seyssinet (38). QUALHYGIENE, COFRAC-accredited for food microbiology activities, enriches our network of specialized laboratories, while ALPRECO brings its recognized expertise in food safety consulting.
