Normec Abiolab strengthens its analytical capabilities
Normec Abiolab – Montbonnot Saint-Martin site (38) – is strengthening its analytical capabilities with the acquisition of new Séquentiel Gallery Plus equipment. The deployment of this equipment, which is dedicated to analysing numerous physical and chemical parameters in clean water and wastewater, is part of our ongoing efforts to improve our services by reducing analysis times and enhancing team safety through the use of ready-to-use reagents. All parameters analysed using the sequential method are accredited by COFRAC, testing section, lists of sites and scope of accreditation available at www.cofrac.fr.

Normec Abiolab: Preserving water quality in the face of PFAS challenges
Starting January 1, 2026, water quality regulations will change. From then on, 20 PFAS will have to be analyzed for drinking water health checks, with particularly strict quantification limits. In this context, Normec Abiolab has invested in the PFAS project with the aim of meeting these new regulatory requirements. Our goal is to develop and validate a reliable and effective analysis method for these 20 PFAS.

Normec Abiolab accelerates its growth in the Pays de la Loire region
On February 28, Normec Abiolab acquired AVIMAR, a laboratory based in Challans (85) in the Pays de la Loire region. Specializing in food hygiene and safety, AVIMAR supports the livestock, agri-food, and marketing sectors, from farm to table. The laboratory offers animal health, food hygiene, and water analysis services, as well as inspection, audit, consulting, and training services, particularly in occupational risk management.

Normec Abiolab accelerates its growth in the Greater East region
Normec Abiolab is expanding with the acquisition of the QUALHYGIENE laboratory, located in Metz (57), and the food safety consulting company ALPRECO, based in Seyssinet (38). QUALHYGIENE, COFRAC-accredited for food microbiology activities, enriches our network of specialized laboratories, while ALPRECO brings its recognized expertise in food safety consulting. These acquisitions are part of our strategy for continued growth and strengthen our presence in France, while expanding our range of services.
