Your partner in horticulture
As a hub in the horticultural industry, we at Normec Groen Agro Control understand the essential role that analyses and investigations play in ensuring the quality and safety of your products. Our dedicated team offers a wide range of specialized services, including residue analyses, organic analyses, contamination and control of production equipment, microbiological analyses and inorganic analyses. With these, we help you maintain the highest standards in horticulture. We are ready to work with you to determine the right analyses or talk through the results.
Our specialties in horticulture
1. Residue analysis
Our expert teams perform residue analyses to assess the presence of crop protection agents, inhibitors, herbicides, artificial hormones and cleaning/disinfectants in your products.
Crop protection agents GC-MS/MS + LC-MS/MS screening for >750 components
Inhibitors: chlormequat, daminozide, pacobutrazole, propiconazole, prohexadione-calcium
Herbicide list with ±150 substances and further dithiocarbamates, glyphosate, diquat/paraquat
Artificial hormones: auxin, gibberellin, cytokinin, benzyladenine
Cleaning/disinfectants: quaternary ammonium, chlorate, bezoic acid, inorganic bromide
2. Organic analyses
Our organic analyses focus on measuring organic substances to ensure the purity of your products. These analyses are crucial for certifications and for demonstrating the organic quality of your crops.
Health promoting substances
Nutritional values: moisture, ash, fat, fatty acids, carbohydrates, sugars, protein, fiber, energy value
Vitamins A, B, C, D, E & K
Packages: sugars, organic acids, mycotoxins
3. Contaminants and Control of Production Resources.
We perform comprehensive analyses to detect contaminants and maintain control of production inputs. This includes ensuring the absence of contaminants and checking production inputs for effectiveness.
Fertilizer monitoring for levels, and contamination sodium and heavy metals
Investigation precipitation or clogging: % organic (algae, micro) and % inorganic (nutrients)
Water quality: BOD, COD, particle size, TOC, Oxygen, Transmission (T10)
Source water: iron total, boron, methane gases, metals
Total damage survey package: plasticizers, fluorine, formaldehyde, pesticides, herbicide, inhibitors, metals, germ count and chlorate.
4. Microbiological analyses.
Our microbiological analyses include pathogen research, monitoring for healthy water and crop. These analyses are aimed at ensuring the microbial safety of your products and optimizing the health of your crops.
Microbiological research pathogens
Complete package of fungi and water fungi
Bacteria: Agrobacterium, Ralstonia, Erwinia, Clavibacter, Pseudomonas, Xanthomonas
Viruses and viroids via ELISA and PCR and sequencing
Nematode research
Air samples for infection pressure of fungi
Sequence analysis DNA/RNA: PCR technique to detect low infection pressure
Monitoring for healthy water and crop
Germ count limited: bacteria and fungi/yeasts
Germ count concentrated for clean water monitoring: extra Fusarium, Pythium and Pythpophthora
Germ count extended: additional Trichoderma, Cladiosporium, Acremonium, other fungi
Food safety: water control for E.coli and Enterococci counts and human pathogens
Plant material: germ count to check clean starting material and roots
5. Inorganic analyses
Our inorganic analyses focus on the assessment of inorganic components in your products. These analyses contribute to the understanding of the minerals and elements essential for the growth and quality of your crops.
Nutrients in water, potting soil, leaf juice and in crop
BaCl2 extraction to check coconut substrate for K, Ca, Na and Mg
Physical parameters: % moisture, OS, bulk density, pores, shrinkage and sieve fraction
Comprehensive analysis list: heavy metals
Additional: urea, selenium, iodide, fluoride and chromium-6
Undissolved constituents
