PFAS analysis in water
BELAC-accredited laboratory
From drinking water to industrial wastewater, Normec Servaco accurately identifies which PFAS compounds are present and in what concentrations, in accordance with current standards and European regulations.

When should PFAS water testing be carried out?
Drinking water abstraction and distribution
Surface water and groundwater monitoring
Wastewater (inflow / outflow)
Industrial discharges involving the use of PFAS
Remediation and aftercare programmes
Permit and compliance requirements

Why PFAS analysis in water is essential
PFAS are highly persistent and mobile in water, meaning they can easily spread to drinking water sources, surface water and ecosystems. To manage risks to people and the environment, governments are imposing increasingly stringent requirements for monitoring PFAS concentrations in water.
Depending on the type of water, its use and the applicable legislation, a PFAS analysis may be necessary or mandatory.

Wat houdt een PFAS‑wateranalyse in?
Water samples are analysed for the legally required PFAS components using validated analytical methods, including LC-MS/MS. All measurements are carried out under BELAC-accredited quality assurance.
You will receive a clear analysis report containing measurement values, compliance checks and interpretation, suitable for reporting to the competent authority, for licensing purposes or for internal monitoring.

Our five-step process
- 1
Intake & analysis framework
We determine the purpose of the analysis, the type of water and the relevant legislation and regulations, and put together the appropriate PFAS package.
- 2
Water sampling
You can supply samples or use our sampling service. We provide PFAS-free bottles and ensure proper preservation and transport.
- 3
Analysis in an accredited laboratory
The samples are prepared and analysed using LC-MS/MS, with continuous internal quality controls.
- 4
Reporting & compliance assessment
You will receive an analysis report containing the test results, which have been checked against the applicable national and European standards.
- 5
Advice in the event of an overrun
If concentrations are found to be elevated, our experts will advise on further action, such as additional monitoring, source investigation or control measures.
