Do you approve of our offer? You sign the agreement attached to the offer and provide us with the following documents:

- a current version of the HSE management system documentation, such as a manual and the relevant procedures/instructions; - the reports of the internal audit and the management review.

Once we receive these documents, we will contact you to schedule a date and send you a written confirmation of the assignment, the planning, and the designated auditor.

Phase 1: Document Review We verify whether your company is ready for certification based on the submitted documents. If your organization does not meet the minimum requirements, the audit may be postponed for up to six months after consultation to implement corrective measures. There must be no outstanding issues before phase 2 begins.

Phase 2: On-Site Verification The auditor conducts interviews with employees and assesses evidence of the system's effectiveness. At the end of this phase, the results and any deficiencies are discussed, along with the next steps.

Corrective Measures Identified deficiencies must be demonstrably resolved within three months to obtain certification.

Additional Assessment The implementation of measures is verified through a follow-up assessment, conducted either at the office for document review or on-site to evaluate practical application.

The auditor submits the report with a positive recommendation to the certification committee. If this body makes a positive decision, you will receive your certificate.

The certificate is valid for three years. After three years, a recertification audit must be conducted.

We conduct annual interim audits to verify whether your company still meets the standard requirements. Any deficiencies identified during these follow-up audits must be corrected within an agreed timeframe.

Normec BTV Audit conducts a short-term audit in the following cases:

- when handling a complaint related to a certification, - when following up on the suspension of a VCA certificate, - in the event of a fundamental change within the client’s organization.
