Check labels

Our experts assess your labels. You can send them to us by email so that we can assess them. After the assessment of the label, you will receive a complete final report with the findings and recommendations. There are various possibilities:

  • Checks in relation to Regulation (EU) No. 1169/2011

  • Checks in relation to the Dutch language

  • Checks in relation to one or more languages ​​other than Dutch

  • Checks in relation to other legislation, for example, claims and vertical legislation

  • Checks based on recipes and raw material specifications

  • Checks in relation to additional international legislation

Four-eyes principle

To ensure that we don't miss anything, our experts assess your labels based on the four-eyes principle. This means that every check is carried out by two labelling specialists. After assessing the label, we send you a report with our findings.

International

If you produce food for countries outside the Netherlands, you will, in addition to Regulation (EU) no. 1169/2011, sometimes have to deal with additional national legislation of the country concerned. We can check whether your product complies with this legislation and whether additional information is required. This way you can avoid penalties and refusal of your products in these countries.
