At Normec Foodcare Online, reliability and security are paramount. Our application runs in Dutch data centres, ensuring lightning-fast connections and full compliance with the GDPR. This means your data remains secure within the country's borders. Our infrastructure is built for continuity: with dual systems, emergency power supply and a Tier 3-certified data centre, we guarantee an uptime of no less than 99.982%. And if something does happen, our backup systems are immediately ready to step in. Security is not an afterthought for us. Our data centre operates to the strictest standards (ISO 27001, 9001 and 14001), which guarantee 24/7 monitoring, emergency power supply, access controls and encrypted backups, among other things. Multiple backups are made every day, both of complete servers and individual files. This allows us to recover quickly if necessary. Our servers are also protected by strong firewalls and all connections are secured with SSL. For extra security, you can even restrict access to your environment to your own IP addresses.

    Energy efficiency and sustainability played a key role in the design and layout of the data centre. According to BREEAM (a leading independent assessment method for determining the sustainability performance of buildings), our hosting partner's data centre is even the first data centre in the world to be awarded the BREEAM “excellent” rating. This is partly due to the innovative gas engine heat pump that ensures that the heat from the data centre is reused to heat the head office. The cooled air is then used again to cool the data centre. In addition, sustainable building materials have been used and existing materials have been reused wherever possible.

Normec Foodcare's head office is located in Den Bosch. Staff members from departments such as HR, Finance, and Marketing & Communication can be found here almost every day. This is the permanent base for various Business Units (Label & Specifications, Training & Education, and Audits & Inspections). Pleasant workplaces The office in Den Bosch is spacious. On the ground floor, meeting rooms and Normec Plaza are shared with other Normec departments. We meet each other, receive guests, consult, train, and take breaks together. There are also many flexible workspaces, allowing colleagues from other locations in Den Bosch to come and work here. The mix of employees means you quickly get to know colleagues from other fields. The atmosphere The office in Den Bosch has an open and informal atmosphere. You can ask any of your colleagues if you have any questions. Despite the size of the company, the culture is still that of a flat organization with a genuine “open door policy.” The surroundings The head office is located on a dynamic business park on the A2 in Den Bosch. During the initial phase, we carefully examine your organization's requirements and record them in an implementation plan. Once this plan has been approved, our operational team takes care of the implementation. During implementation, our application is configured according to your organization's requirements. Key users are also trained to work independently with the application. Our implementations are rated 9 out of 10 on average!

Thanks to the smart design of our application and the experience of our implementation consultants, we are able to complete implementations very quickly. This means you can start enjoying the benefits of our online software almost immediately! For the average customer, we are able to complete the implementation of a module within one working day. Note: Because the turnaround time for an implementation depends on the size of your organization, the level of support required, and the products purchased, it is not possible to give a definitive answer.

Our application is based on the software-as-a-service (SAAS) principle, which means that the impact on your processes is minimal. This means that no installations are required, resulting in a very low IT impact. Furthermore, our implementation is based as much as possible on providing your organization with total peace of mind. Unique to Normec Foodcare is that, if desired, we can even provide subject matter experts within the field of the purchased products. This could include label specialists for setting up the specification module or QA consultants who provide support in setting up the manual module.

After completion of the implementation, customers are able to work independently with our application. If you still require additional support, our support department is always at your service.
