Normec Road Construction Laboratory (WBL) is an independent, RvA-accredited laboratory, specialised in civil engineering research. As part of the Normec Group within the TICC sector (Testing, Inspection, Certification & Compliance), we strive for excellence in quality, environmental responsibility, and innovation.With locations in Leerdam and Assen, the Netherlands, we conduct accredited laboratory and field research in full compliance with the Standaard RAW Bepalingen (Standard RAW Provisions). Our services support clients such as municipalities, provinces, engineering firms, and contractors with reliable research results and specialised supervision focused on quality assurance and circularity.
Circularity and environmental awareness
At Normec WBL, circularity is at the heart of how we work. We conduct, for example, PAH and DLC studies to assess the environmental suitability of materials, which contributes to the reusability and sustainability of infrastructure projects.

Our examinations are performed according to the standards of EN ISO/IEC 17025:2017 and are included in our accreditation scope (L047). This ensures that our processes are designed to be reliable, safe and environmentally conscious.
