DIN EN ISO 50001
Organizations with an annual energy consumption of 7.5 GWh or more must implement an energy management system according to DIN EN ISO 50001 by July 18, 2025.

As an independent certification body, we conduct all audits ourselves. Our experts are highly trained and officially authorised for the process. Once certification is achieved, we handle communication with regulatory authorities when needed and share the results. To ensure the reliability of our assessments, we are monitored and regularly audited by our supervisory bodies: DAkkS, BLE, and DAU.
Certification costs vary depending on your company’s specific situation. Factors such as the type of certification, existing certifications, and the number of sites or installations involved all play a role. Before proceeding, we gather all relevant information and provide a clear, transparent quote, allowing you to make an informed decision.
A certificate serves as an official confirmation that your company meets all required standards. To support this, we provide targeted feedback early in the process. If any non-conformities are identified, you will have time to correct them. Meeting deadlines and achieving the required results are essential. Once all conditions are met, the certificate is issued as proof of compliance.

Normec Zertifizierung is a certification body for energy management systems accredited by the German Accreditation Body (DAkkS) and guarantees you a testing and certification process according to state-recognized and standardized procedures. Our accreditation certificate is part of our approval. In addition to the accreditation, we have other official approvals from other testing authorities such as the BLE and the DAU.
