The BRL SIKB 7000 relates to the implementation of (water) soil remediation and interventions in the (water) soil in accordance with the Environmental Management Act (Wm), the Soil Protection Act (Wbb), the Water Act and the Uniform Remediation Decree (BUS). These regulations require that (water) soil remediation be carried out by a certified and accredited company. If this is not the case, you are acting in violation of the law and regulations, which is considered an environmental offence.

What protocols does the BRL SIKB 7000 include?

The BRL SIKB 7000 includes four protocols:

  • Protocol 7003: Execution of sediment remediation and interventions in the waterbed

  • Protocol 7005: Excavation and remediation of soil

  • Protocol 7006: Execution of soil remediation using in-situ techniques and groundwater remediation

  • Protocol 7007: Temporary removal of soil

Depending on your organisation's activities, you can be certified for one or more protocols.
