Why an MRF Quality Mark?
The MRF Quality Mark represents the Metal and Recycling Federation's commitment to recognising the sector as a professional and sustainable industry. The quality mark is therefore mandatory for all members affiliated with the MRF: from shredder companies and dealers in ferrous and non-ferrous metals to exporters. Care for safety, health and the environment is explicitly guaranteed in this regulation. For example, requirements are included regarding compliance with all applicable laws and regulations, the quality of the administrative organisation and the company resources used.
Normec and the MRF Quality Mark
Organisations with the MRF Quality Mark must be tested annually. Normec is one of the certifying bodies that has signed a cooperation agreement with the MRF. The assessment for the MRF Quality Mark is done by auditors who know what is going on in your market.
