If you operate in the poultry processing sector, you are required to comply with the NEN+ regulation. In addition to an updated collective labour agreement (CLA), the joint committee in the poultry processing industry has also revised the control documents for the NEN+ inspection.

What is the NEN+ Scheme?
Temporary workers in the poultry processing sector are only allowed to perform tasks in the primary production process if they are employed by a staffing agency that:
Holds the SNA quality mark and is listed in the Labour Standards Register (Register Normering Arbeid).
Is certified as a NEN+ company and registered in the poultry processing sector section of the Labour Standards Register maintained by the Stichting Normering Arbeid.
The NEN+ scheme is outlined in Article 31 of the Poultry CLA and aims to ensure continuous monitoring of the proper application of the CLA’s labour conditions. Clients in the poultry industry are only permitted to work with NEN+ certified staffing agencies.

Updated terminology and requirements based on the 2017–2019 Poultry CLA (previously 2013–2014).
Clarification of working hours and reductions in working hours.
Immediate application of the hirer’s pay conditions when hiring temporary staff.

First, we assess whether your company qualifies as a "Company in the sector". Companies in the sector are required to apply the universally binding Poultry CLA.

Compliance with several CLA provisions is audited, including working hours, wages, bonuses, and job classifications.

Register admission
If your company meets the requirements, we will confirm the positive inspection result to the SNA, and your organisation will be listed in the register of the poultry sector.
