The background of the PayChecked certification
The PayChecked certification was established by Transport en Logistiek Nederland (TLN) en Ondernemersvereniging Evofenedex. It was introduced in response to the Dutch Wet Aanpak Schijnconstructies (WAS) (Law on Tackling Sham Constructions). Under this law, clients can be held liable if their employees or subcontractors’ workers are not compensated correctly. Naturally, you want to avoid this risk. By obtaining the PayChecked in Transport certification, you ensure compliance with the legal requirements.
Independent inspection for your transport company
Normec has in-depth knowledge of the PayChecked regulations. We conduct completely independent assessments to verify whether your company meets these standards. On average, we inspect organisations every two years (partially through random sampling), focusing on contracts, payroll administration, compliance with the collective labour agreement for professional goods transport, and complaint handling. No, that is not necessary. However, activities must take place that can be assessed based on the Paychecked in Transport standard. If you do not have any employees who fall under the Collective Labor Agreement for Professional Goods Transport, please contact us first.
