SNA Quality Mark: proof of reliability
The abbreviation SNA stands for Stichting Normering Arbeid (Foundation for Labour Standards). The SNA quality mark was created to reduce risks related to chain and hirer liability. If your organisation is SNA-certified, you can demonstrate that you conduct business in a reliable manner. This gives clients the confidence to partner with you. How Normec helps you obtain an SNA certificate
Normec VRO is accredited by the Dutch Accreditation Council (RvA), which means we comply with the EN ISO/IEC 17020 standard for NEN 4400-1, NEN 4400-2, and the SNA Standards Handbook (registration number I203). We are authorised to carry out inspections for the SNA quality mark. We do this in the effective and efficient manner you are accustomed to, with a short turnaround time and clear reporting.
The outcome of the inspection may include areas for improvement. FAQ
All the most frequently asked questions
The SNA certification is not legally required. However, it is widely recognised in the industry, and clients will appreciate it if you are SNA-certified.
All certified organisations can be found in the public SNA register.
After the certification is granted, your personnel administration, payroll administration, financial records, and sector-specific collective labour agreement compliance (if applicable) must generally be inspected every six months in order to maintain the SNA certification.
Prior to the inspection, you will be asked to send certain documents to the inspector. The inspector will review your documentation in advance to ensure they are well-prepared for the inspection.
On the day of the inspection, the inspector will begin with an introductory meeting and assess your company against all applicable standard requirements. You will provide the inspector with all necessary information, and the inspector will take samples from your administration.
At the end of the inspection, a closing meeting will be held to discuss the results of the inspection with you.
