CBR value and CBR increase
The CBR (California Bearing Ratio) is a compression test developed in America and based on crushed rock material (100%). This test determines the bearing capacity of a granular building material and relates it to the American rock material.
Determining the CBR value and CBR increase
In this test, the material is first brought to the optimum moisture content before being compacted in circular moulds according to a set standard. The resistance to penetration of this compacted material is then measured. By doing this immediately after manufacturing the test pieces and again after 28 days, we get a picture of the increase in that weather edge. Both the 0-day test and the 28-day test are performed in 5-fold. This analysis is carried out under accreditation.
Process
Three steps to certification
1. Sampling
You take a sample of the material to be analysed. We then collect the samples by courier.
2. Testing
In our lab, we perform the civil or environmental engineering tests that are applicable to you.
3. Reporting
You receive the results of the tests in a clear and unambiguous report.
