What do you get to do

No day is the same in the role of Auditor BRL SIKB. You will carry out workplace inspections as well as office audits. You will visit various companies.

During a workplace inspection, you will visit on location. You literally step into the field, and engage with the Fieldworker. You observe how the Fieldworker drills the soil, and how the resulting soil is laid down, sampled and recorded. You then go through the documentation to check whether the necessary permits are in order, the protocol fieldwork forms are present and whether all documentation complies with the SIKB guidelines applicable to the study. After going through everything, you discuss any discrepancies immediately. At the end of the work inspection, you process your visit in a report, which the client will receive.

Besides the various workplace inspections, you also carry out office audits. During your visit, you check whether the quality system sufficiently complies with the BRL SIKB standard. Using project files, you check whether soil decontamination has been carried out correctly. You also discuss the latest changes in legislation and regulations with management. During the office audit, you delve into the books. You check whether the checklists have been completed correctly, assess internal audits and ask the KAM coordinator about some ambiguities you have encountered. In the concluding discussion with management, you indicate what you have found. You then process all this in a report, which the client will receive.

What do you bring

• HBO working and thinking level;

• An HBO diploma in civil, environmental or cultural engineering, or directly equivalent education;

• At least 3 years' work experience with a (GGW) contractor or an engineering or consultancy firm related to the sector;

• Up-to-date knowledge of and experience with the following BRL SIKB standards: 1000, 2000, 6000 (must), 7000 (must), 7500, 11000 and 12000;

• Affinity with soil investigation and remediation;

• You stand firmly on your feet;

• Inquisitive; Enjoys digging through laws and regulations.
