Auditor Demolition

Do you have an affinity with the demolition sector and want to help companies in this field reach the next level? Start as a Demolition Auditor at Normec Certification.

Step into the role of Demolition Auditor

Your job as an Asbestos Auditor comes with great responsibility and a lot of variety. You will visit companies for office audits, conduct site inspections, and reports.

Site inspections are never announced in advance, which often surprises the employees on-site. Although it might feel a bit awkward at first, your strong communication skills help put people at ease. Before they know it, you’re already started with the audit.

The first inspection takes place on a construction site where an apartment building is being demolished. The purpose of your visit? A conformity assessment. Are they working according to the regulations set out in the Building Works and Living Environment Decree? You check whether the demolition workers are wearing the correct PPE, using equipment properly, and whether the work complies with the requirements of the relevant certification schemes. You take photos and videos of what you observe on-site. Any discrepancies are reported immediately. Once the inspection is complete, you head off to today’s second site inspection: the demolition of a bridge.

You look back on an interesting day. Naturally, delivering bad news is never fun, but you know why your work matters. You fully understand the importance and responsibility of your role—for both the companies involved and for society as a whole.

On Fridays, you work on reports from the inspections conducted earlier in the week.
