Who are you and what do you bring

• You are a manager who is close to people, committed, able to connect and have strong communication skills. You know how to motivate your colleagues and you have demonstrable experience of coaching and managing a diverse group of professionals;

• A college degree;

• Is this the second, third or fourth team you lead;

• Do you have experience with quality issues? Then you will score extra points;

• Does your leadership style enable you to bring your colleagues along in a change process;

• Can you easily switch between strategic, tactical and operational levels;

• You are a mature business partner for Management and MT and a solid discussion partner for external parties.

• You naturally think in terms of opportunities and possibilities, act proactively and give solicited and unsolicited advice;

• You know how to keep an overview and at the same time have an eye for detail;

• You have a flexible work ethic;

• Are you available for at least 32 hours a week.

The team

You are responsible for the optimal functioning of Normec Certification, the certification arm of Normec that employs 50 people. Your team comprises 48 FTEs, including auditors, certification coordinators, quality controllers and a planner. The office is located in a beautiful monumental building in Geldermalsen. Lunch together, walks and team-building activities are part of this!

Normec Certification is part of Normec. Normec is an ambitious, independent and still growing organisation focused on testing, inspection, certification and compliance. Since its establishment in 2015, the organisation has grown to become the specialist in the field of quality and safety. The atmosphere within the organisation can be described as approachable and informal. Colleagues are happy to help each other. There are short lines of communication with the management.
