Your role

This role requires a proactive and independent attitude. As an inspector, you will carry out projects at our clients' premises under your own responsibility. You are the organisation's calling card and secure new orders from existing clients.

Work

For this challenge, think about the following work:

• Drafting inspection plans and reviewing basic and detailed designs;

• Performing initial and follow-up inspections on site;

• Drafting inspection reports;

• Taking a multidisciplinary team approach to technical problems and new developments;

• Investigating new developments and techniques for application possibilities;

• Providing data for tenders;

• Relationship management and order acquisition;

• Carrying out peer review of inspection documents within the field for which the inspector is independently competent;

Training and competences

A presentable attitude.

• Accurate and stress-resistant.

• Knowledge in the field of fire alarm systems and related regulations, standards and guidelines.

• A diploma in fire alarm system projecting expert and/or evacuation alarm system is an advantage.

• Knowledge of (CCV) fire protection compliance schemes.

• Knowledge of building and fire safety regulations, insofar as these relate to the fire protection systems in question.

• Ability, on the basis of demonstrable theoretical and practical knowledge, to independently assess principles, draw up inspection plans, assess detailed designs and carry out initial inspections in accordance with this scheme.

• Experience in fire safety, plant engineering, structural aspects, business processes, chemistry, electrical engineering and occupational health and safety issues.’
