The collaboration between Schouten Food and Normec Foodcare began years ago. Normec Foodcare continues to support the QA/QC staff in the area of labeling, much to the satisfaction of Frank Sluis, QA/QC manager at Schouten Food.

When the collaboration started, Normec Foodcare took care of complete customer projects for Schouten Food. “The Schouten Food team has since expanded, and support has become the most important task for Normec Foodcare's labeling specialists. For example, they fill in during maternity leave or during busy periods,” says Frank.
Various tasks
Normec Foodcare's labeling specialists are deployed for various tasks. For example, customer systems may need to be completed, all specifications must be in order, or a label check must be carried out.
Pleasant collaboration
A pleasant working relationship is important to Frank. Frank: “After all, good cooperation works best. For me, a good labeling specialist is someone who can make good decisions and communicates well with us. Because of the pleasant working relationship and the good price-quality ratio, we have purchased additional services from Normec Foodcare, such as conducting supplier audits. It's a successful partnership.”
