What does your day look like?

As a Commercial Employee at QS, you start your day with a cup of coffee and a short update with the Commercial Manager to discuss the goals and priorities for the day. You then get in touch with potential customers, both by phone and email, to identify their needs and inform them about QS's services. You prepare quotations and follow them up proactively, responding to the specific wishes of the customer.

Throughout the day, you keep customer files up to date and plan activities for the next day. You maintain regular contact with customers who have made an inquiry, aiming to convert these into assignments and build sustainable relationships.

The role requires a hands-on attitude, commercial insight, and a good command of English, as our clients are spread across Europe. With your enthusiasm, ambition, and result-driven mindset, you know how to win over customers and strengthen QS’s market position time and time again.

Below is an overview of the main employment conditions:

  • Salary range: €2,500 – €3,000 gross per month based on full-time employment, depending on your experience

  • 25 vacation days

  • Travel allowance of €0.23 per km

What do you bring?

  • MBO 4+ / HBO degree in Commercial Economics or equivalent

  • Excellent communication skills: you are skilled in conducting conversations in both Dutch and English and have a customer-oriented attitude

  • Goal-oriented & enthusiastic: you love achieving results and gain energy from working with people

  • Proactive & independent: you see opportunities to improve processes and work well both independently and in a team

  • A structured working style and a hands-on mentality

  • Experience in a similar role is a plus

At Normec QS in Bennekom, around 35 inspectors, auditors, material specialists, and support staff work together. As an independent specialist, we provide services in the fields of testing, inspection, and certification for projects in areas such as residual streams, recycling, composting, civil engineering, renewable energy, and infrastructure. The working atmosphere is informal, with short lines of communication. Colleagues are closely involved with each other and with the organization.
