Adjustments to the PayChecked Standard
20 may 2025
Changes to the PayChecked in Transport Standard Set as of July 1, 2025
As of July 1, 2025, important changes will be made to the PayChecked standard set for the transport sector. These adjustments relate to the complaints procedure, allowances, and references in the standard text. Below is an overview of the key changes.
1. Expansion of the Complaints Procedure (Article 2.2): Now Also Applies to the Hiring of Temporary Workers
As of July 1, 2025, the complaints procedure will not only apply to subcontractors but also to labor suppliers. This means that complaints from temporary workers must now be handled according to the PayChecked complaints procedure. The complaint forms on the website will be updated accordingly. We advise you to download and start using the new forms in a timely manner to ensure complaints are processed correctly and in line with the latest guidelines.
2. New Standard Points for Reduced Working Hours (ATV), Vacation, and Living Expenses (Articles 4.2.5 and 4.4.12)
The second change involves the addition of new standard points related to reduced working hours (ATV), vacation leave, and living expense allowances. These will be actively reviewed during inspections starting July 1. It is important that you apply these allowances correctly and can document them administratively to comply with the new assessment criteria.
3. Adjustment of Articles 5.1 and 6.5
In Articles 5.1 and 6.5, the reference to “Inspectie SZW” has been updated to the current name “Netherlands Labour Authority” (Nederlandse Arbeidsinspectie). Additionally, both articles have been aligned in content for clearer and more consistent application of the standard.
4. Update of the Certification Regulations as of April 1, 2025
In addition to the standard set, the certification regulations have also been updated as of April 1, 2025. We recommend reviewing not only the standard set but also the updated regulations carefully, as together they form the foundation for the correct and future-proof application of the PayChecked certification.
Why These Changes Matter
With these changes, PayChecked aims to further strengthen compliance with the collective labor agreement (CLA) in the transport sector. This ensures that employees at certified companies demonstrably receive what they are entitled to. The certification mark remains not only a guarantee of quality but also a signal that the sector actively adheres to laws and regulations.
We therefore advise you to prepare in good time. This will enable you to demonstrate during inspections that your organization meets the new requirements and contributes to a fair and professional sector.
The updated standard set and certification regulations can be found on the PayChecked website. For questions, please contact our back office.
