Delay in WKA application SNA

Please note: WKA forms are currently taking longer to process – submit your application in good time

The Tax and Customs Administration has announced that the processing of WKA applications is currently taking longer than usual. Due to the increase in the number of applications, the processing time is currently around 10 working days. This may have consequences if you are due to undergo an inspection in the near future as part of the Labour Standards Foundation (SNA) assessment.

This concerns the following statements:

  • Statement of payment behaviour in compliance with tax obligations

  • Statement of payment behaviour in relation to chain liability

  • Statement of payment behaviour in relation to hirer liability

Do you have an inspection coming up to maintain or obtain the SNA quality mark? Then it is important that you have these statements available in good time. During an SNA inspection, you must be able to demonstrate that you are complying with your tax obligations. If you are unable to provide a current statement (maximum 3 months old), this may have consequences for your certification.

Our tip: submit your application at least 3 weeks before the inspection. Please note: calling the Tax Information Line will not speed up the process. The Tax and Customs Administration is working to minimise the inconvenience for you as much as possible.

Our experts are happy to assist you

Due to the longer processing time, it is important to request WKA forms well in advance, especially with an SNA inspection on the horizon.
