We are leading in water testing
Water testing
From qualified sampling and precise analysis to expert evaluation, we conduct physico-chemical and microbiological water testing. We test for corrosion-related chemical parameters and perform mixed water calculations.
Water analysis to determine limit values.
We can provide a wide range of tests for routine monitoring, site characterisation, or contamination to water courses. Accreditation applies across a range of matrices including:
Industrial water acc 42. BImSchV
Drinking water

Bathing water
Process water
Purified water
Groundwater contamination
Groundwater contamination can be a major issue on some sites and it’s essential to do a thorough analysis of any water and its margins to check for pollution, and in particular heavy metals and hydrocarbons. Our testing suites can provide the data required for hazardous/non-hazardous classification required for disposal.
Bathing water
Bathing water tests are mandatory in public pools and natural bathing waters to ensure water quality and minimise potential health risks. The tests check the hygiene and chemical composition of the water to identify pathogens and harmful substances.
Water for Pharmaceutical use (WPU)
Water quality standards in pharmaceutical and life science industry are high. We test according to pharmacopeia standards and help in case of contamination e.g. identification of biofilm indicating germs. We have a long-term record in control and monitor highest level requirements on waters, e.g. purified water (aqua purificata). sterile water (e.g. WFI), drinking water, process water. We offer precise analysis with validated methods and deliver fast and reliable results.
Industrial water 42. BImSchV
According to the 42nd Federal Immission Control Ordinance (BImSchV), industrial water refers to water from cooling towers, evaporative cooling systems, and wet separators. The 42. BImSchV regulates the handling of industrial water.
Microbiological testing for Legionella spp. and the general colony count are required here. Regular testing is prescribed to identify potential sources of danger and implement preventive measures. This particularly applies to companies and businesses that use industrial water in their processes. These tests must be carried out by a testing laboratory accredited according to DIN EN ISO/IEC 17025 and for the sampling and microbiological testing of industrial water in accordance with Section 3 Paragraph 8 of the 42nd Federal Immission Control Ordinance (BImSchV). Our laboratory offers this service.
