Plate Test
Do you want to assess the bearing capacity or compaction of soil or backfill? Then you need a plate test. From Wevelgem, Puurs-Sint-Amands en Alken, Normec teams come to your site. You (client or contractor) provide a counterweight such as a crane, wheel loader, truck, etc. And our employees expertly perform the desired load test for you. For this we use different methods:
Small plate test (200 square centimeters)
Large plate test (750 square centimeters)
Westergaard plate test
