For many organisations, sustainability is still seen as a balancing act. Environmental goals, financial performance, and employee wellbeing are often treated as separate priorities that compete for attention and investment. But what if the most effective sustainability initiatives are the ones that improve all three?

Since joining GP Prüfservice in 2021, Marcel has been driven by one clear belief: sustainable success only works when people, ethics, and responsible resource use move forward together. That mindset led him to become an ESG Change Champion within Normec. “Long-term success only works when sustainability becomes part of how we operate every single day.”

Since joining Normec Hybeta in 2019 as Fleetmanager and Training and Seminar Manager, Tatiana has developed a clear view on what ESG principals should look like in practice. “For me, ESG is not about big buzzwords or perfect concepts. It’s about awareness and small, practical improvements that make a difference over time.” Taking on the role of ESG Change Champion therefore felt like a natural step: an opportunity to turn that belief into something tangible within the organisation.

For many organisations, water is taken for granted. It flows from taps, cools installations, heats buildings, and supports industrial processes. Only when costs rise, systems fail, or sustainability becomes a priority does a key question emerge: are we actually using water efficiently?

The current version of Eudralex Volume 4 Annex 11 dates back to 2011 and is no longer fully up to date. The technological world has changed significantly since then. Requirements for lifecycle management and data integrity have become much stricter, and the use of cloud solutions in the pharmaceutical industry is now standard.

In December 2025, a supplier of a raw material for infant nutrition discovered that an ingredient may have been contaminated with cereulide, a toxin produced by the bacterium Bacillus cereus. This ingredient - an arachidonic acid (ARA) oil - was used in the production of infant formula and was unexpectedly found to cereulide contain. Nestlé therefore informed the Dutch Food and Consumer Product Safety Authority (NVWA) at the end of December about the possible contamination in the raw material, but the relevant production line was not intended for the Dutch market.
