The SCC (Safety, Checklist Contractors) is essentially a compilation of all the knowledge and experience of Dutch industry in the field of safe and healthy working practices. With an SCC certificate, you demonstrate that your company values safety and health at work, and that you are a skilled and reliable contractor. SCC is intended for companies that perform high-risk activities or work in high-risk environments, such as construction or maintenance work on building sites, in factories and workshops, and at installations.
There are three levels of SCC certification:
SCC*: This level covers operational matters such as the direct control of safety, health, and environmental activities on the work floor.
SCC**: In addition to the above, this level includes policy, structure, and planning.
SCC-P: This level goes even further, incorporating behaviour, subcontractors, and safety culture.
