Accredited laboratory

It is essential that livestock drinking water analyses are carried out by an accredited laboratory. Normec is ISO-accredited, which means that we comply with strict quality standards and are regularly audited. This guarantees that our analyses are reliable and recognised by official authorities. Our water analyses always comply with the requirements of IKB Nederland Varkens (IKB Netherlands Pigs) or IKB Nederland Runderen (IKB Netherlands Cattle), as well as guidelines such as Natuurvlees Nederland (Nature Meat Netherlands), QS, and the Beter Leven Keurmerk (Better Life Quality Mark).

What do we analyse?

In livestock drinking water testing, we examine various parameters and characteristics of the water to analyse its quality. This allows us to analyse the quality of the water. We examine microbiological aspects such as coliforms and E. coli, and chemical parameters such as pH value, dissolved oxygen, nutrients, and minerals. By analysing these parameters extensively, we identify potential risks. Based on the results, you can take appropriate measures to ensure the health and performance of your livestock.

Drinking water testing for livestock at Normec

By outsourcing your periodic water testing to Normec, you don't have to worry about forgetting to schedule the test. We will remind you when it is time to take a sample. One of our colleagues will visit you to take the sample, which we will then analyse in our accredited laboratory. You will receive a detailed analysis, including advice. This allows you to systematically check the water quality, monitor any problems, and ensure that you comply with all legal requirements.

Leo VerheijenProducert

If there is ever a problem with a sample or report, we just need to call or email and it is resolved immediately. Normec never fails to use a sample because they did not have all the information. This is something we have experienced with other labs. Normec is a truly reliable partner; we work well together.
