Agra Service Nabuurs

Agra Service Nabuurs was founded in 1991 by Hans and Wilma Nabuurs and has grown into a solid family business with six vehicles and four permanent employees. The collaboration between Agra Service Nabuurs and Normec Robalab has been in place for more than 30 years. This partnership is based on trust, flexibility, and knowledge. It began in the early 1990s when Hans Nabuurs got talking to Iwan, co-founder of Normec Robalab. The obligation to sample manure was new, and Robalab was able to do this close to home. This meant that the lines of communication were short.

Every farmer in the Netherlands has to deal with business inspections. Not only to comply with legal requirements, but also to obtain certain quality marks and certificates. Producert inspectors carry out various inspections at agricultural businesses throughout the country on a daily basis. The water samples are sent directly to Normec Robalab for laboratory testing.

MTS Lucassen

Pieter and Marcel Lucassen from Afferden grow more than 10 million perennials in over 800 varieties every year. The brothers invest heavily in the soil quality of their 50 hectares of land. Among other things, they have their plots tested every year for the presence of harmful nematodes. "We see it as risk coverage for crop damage. If we skip a year, it could cost us tens of thousands of euros, even up to a hundred thousand!" says Pieter Lucassen of perennial plant nursery MTS Lucassen.

Accreditations & Recognitions

Our laboratory operates in accordance with various accreditations, authorisations and recognitions. With Raad Van Accreditatie NEN-EN-ISO 17025, we demonstrate impartiality and consistent business operations. Under this accreditation, we carry out AP05 activities as well as microbiological, soil and nematode analyses, among other things. By working in accordance with the conditions of our ASLN authorisation, which focuses on laboratory testing of soil, plant material or seeds, we demonstrate that we also provide reliable test results in accordance with these standards. Our RHP recognition enables us to also perform analyses on potting soil and substrate. We perform zoonotic salmonella testing for stable and drinking water under HOSOWO recognition.

A career at Normec Robalab

Normec Robalab is located in Deurne. Robalab conducts laboratory research focusing on the entire chain: from farm to fork. Robalab has its roots in agriculture and has expanded its activities to include feed and food. When you think of a lab, you often think of a sterile environment and people in white coats, but not at Robalab. Soil, water, manure, animal feed, and foodstuffs largely determine the work carried out in the lab in Deurne.
