Would you like to discover what online marketing has to offer during your work placement? During your internship, we will introduce you to the world of SEO, SEA, email marketing, social advertising and analytics. Due to the diversity of services we offer at Normec, it is important to think strategically about the possibilities. We will involve you in our considerations and approach, so that you can gain valuable practical experience in a short period of time that you can take with you in your future online work.
Your role
You will support our Integrated Marketing team in the diverse range of tasks they perform for our organisation. This involves analysing data and using it to make strategic choices and create the most effective campaigns to raise the profile of our services and organisation. Tasks you may be involved in:
Campaigns: setting up, executing, optimising and evaluating online campaigns via various channels such as LinkedIn, Meta and Google Ads;
Email marketing: you will be involved in the approach, assessment of data and optimisation considerations for the next mailing;
Website: assessing data that can be used to make necessary improvements and providing practical support in implementing these;
Research: exploring and developing possible innovations that we could apply to achieve maximum results.
Your new team
You will be working in the Marketing & Communication team at Normec. This department consists of five teams: creative services, communications and events, integrated sales, the business partners and, finally, your team: integrated marketing. In total, we work with over 20 colleagues, each of whom contributes their own personal strengths. The team is spread across two locations, Den Bosch and Utrecht. The entire team works hard to achieve our goals and we believe a pleasant working atmosphere is important. We want you to feel at home with us.

What do you bring
We are looking for an enthusiastic intern who wants to build on their (online) marketing experience with a broad range of interests and curiosity.
You are enrolled in a higher professional education programme in Marketing/Communication/Commercial Economics or a similar programme;
You are looking for a 5-month work placement;
You are proactive, take responsibility and know how to get things done.
