Are you passionate about contributing to a better climate? Do you have experience with the aspects of the CO2 Performance Ladder? As a Sustainability Auditor, you'll be traveling a lot, and no day will be the same! Sounds good? Keep reading.
What will you be doing?
As a Sustainability Auditor, you will visit various clients to assess whether they meet the requirements of the CO2 Performance Ladder, a sustainability tool. You will primarily do this by reviewing company documentation and having conversations with different employees. This will give you a clear picture of the situation and whether the company’s documentation aligns with the actual practices. As an Auditor, you will not be an advisor but a true assessor! Your tasks will include:
Independently conducting audits for clients who wish to become certified or maintain their certification in the field of sustainability.
Assessing company documentation from various perspectives and methodologies.
Conducting on-site research and reporting your findings.
Verifying whether the measures taken by the client have led to the desired CO2 reduction.
Collaborating with colleagues regarding the interpretation of standards and audit execution.
Your colleague Planners will ensure your schedule is filled, so everything will be arranged for you. You will perform audits five days a week, and the time for reporting is also included in your schedule. This gives you sufficient time to complete your reports afterward. You have the flexibility and freedom to finish your reports from home.
What do you bring?
A bachelor’s degree (HBO) or equivalent knowledge and experience at the HBO level.
Proven knowledge of the CO2 Performance Ladder and sustainability aspects.
Knowledge of ISO 14064 – Greenhouse gases (parts 1 and 3) and ISO 50001 – Energy management. You should also be familiar with the GHG Protocol.
